INSTITUT
Institut for Visual Profiling & Visual Resources Development

The Institute of Visual Profiling & Visual Resources Development has grown from the Studio of Structural Analysis (1994) of artist Richard Schindler. It was founded on 01.01.2000 as an independent body.

The institute is committed to the research and development of visual resources. Results are published and made available as a service for companies and institutions. For this purpose we have developed an analytic tool called Visual Profiling.

In addition, the Institute of Visual Profiling & Visual Resources Development is dedicated to the task of establishing Visual Profiling as a principal analytic procedure of a pictorial science and as a profession in cooperation with art academies and colleges. This implies all aspects of professionalism: certification and accreditation, definition of quality standards, of ethical standards and of the rules of teaching and method. The institute is cooperating with companies and business consultants on this subject.
